Israeli MP calls for mass murder of Gaza children

Israeli Knesset member Michal Waldiger declared during a parliamentary session that “the children will have to be killed” in Gaza, claiming “no one in Gaza is innocent.”
The statement, reported by Israel’s Haaretz newspaper, has ignited international condemnation, exposing the racist and fascist ideology driving Israel’s ongoing war against the Palestinian people.
Waldiger’s remarks came in response to Palestinian MP Ahmad Tibi, who passionately commemorated the massacre of Gaza’s children, questioning how such atrocities could be justified. Waldiger’s chilling reply—“Because they are the children of those who want to harm us. They are all enemies like the Nazis”—prompted several lawmakers to walk out in protest, while gasps echoed through the Knesset chamber. The comments, described by Lebanon’s Al-Akhbar as “Hitler-like hate speech,” underscore the deep-seated hatred fueling Israel’s occupation policies.
As Israel’s relentless assault on Gaza continues, with over 15,000 children killed in airstrikes and shelling, Waldiger’s words reflect a broader culture of impunity within the Israeli government. Schools, hospitals, and refugee camps have been reduced to rubble in what Palestinians and human rights experts call a genocide unfolding before the world’s eyes. Amnesty International condemned Waldiger’s statement as “propaganda for war crimes,” while the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights demanded an investigation into her incitement and Israel’s broader war crimes.
Palestinian advocates and global justice movements are amplifying calls for action, urging sanctions, arms embargoes, and war crimes trials to hold Israel accountable. “This is not a one-off remark—it’s the ideology of annihilation that justifies the slaughter of our children,” said a Gaza-based activist. With every hateful word from Israeli leaders and every child martyred, the urgency for international intervention grows.
The Palestinian people demand not just words of condemnation but concrete steps toward justice, accountability, and liberation from Israel’s genocidal campaign. As the world watches, the shame of inaction deepens. (ILKHA)
